I Can’t Afford This Baby.

Babies are expensive and we understand that. We know that it may not be easy to provide for a baby that has come at a time in your life when you are not financially ready.

What you might not know is that there are various family assistance programs available, such as LA Moms, which is a no-cost health insurance plan, and WIC (Women, Infants, and Children), which can help with some basic food needs for you and your baby. Child care assistance is also offered through the Office of Family Support.

Woman’s New Life Clinic has a wealth of resources that we can explore with you in order to fit your particular needs. We are willing to help in any way we can.

I Did Not Plan This.

Dealing with an unplanned pregnancy can be a scary thing. You might feel alone, confused, and/or helpless. So many “what ifs” seem to flood your brain. It can be overwhelming.

When we’re faced with events for which we did not plan, oftentimes we have a tendency to focus on “worst-case scenarios.” The problem with this type of focus is that we usually fail to look at the good opportunities that might come from unplanned events like an unexpected pregnancy. When we don’t look at the opportunities that can come from unintended events, we tend to become overly anxious, depressed, or even hopeless.

Woman’s New Life Clinic is here to help. We have professional counselors available to assist you during this difficult time. We offer free pregnancy tests, free ultrasounds, and free counseling.

My Parents Will Not Want To Hear This.

While many parents love the idea of grandchildren, some hope that they will come later rather than sooner. But we know that some things don’t always go as planned.

Think back to how you’ve told your parents about difficult things in the past. Was there a certain time of the day that was better than others? Was it easier to write a letter than to tell them face-to-face? Did you reach out to a trusted adult or a favorite teacher?

Maybe you don’t remember or just can’t think straight and are scared to tell your parents. We understand.

Woman’s New Life Clinic has professional counselors who can assist you in deciding how to break this kind of news to your parents; we can guide you on how to approach this issue with your parents.

We offer free counseling throughout your pregnancy and beyond in order to help you and your family prepare for and adjust to this new life. Just contact us. We’re here to help.

My Boyfriend Doesn’t Want This Baby.

While it’s never easy to think about raising a baby without the assistance of a partner, keep in mind that the baby you are carrying is not only a part of your boyfriend, he or she is also a part of YOU.

Sometimes it’s helpful to remove the voices and opinions of all other people and then to ask yourself what you want for your life and for your baby. Listen to your heart. It’s also important to remember that having an abortion because of your boyfriend does not guarantee that he will stay with you.

You and your boyfriend may remain together or may not. But, regardless of your relationship with him, this decision will last forever. This is your decision and your experience. Communicate your feelings to your boyfriend. Perhaps your boyfriend is just scared and is panicking.

Woman’s New Life Clinic can help. Our professional counseling services are free and we can meet with you individually and/or as a couple and discuss these issues with you.

I Need Someone To Talk To.

Are you confused by all the messages and opinions around you? Do you feel alone, confused, even hopeless?

When you’re feeling despondent, your mind has a hard time being objective. Isolating yourself is not the answer. At this time, it is important to communicate with a trusted person, ideally, an objective and trained professional.

Woman’s New Life Clinic has professional counselors who can help you make sense of the issues that are confusing you. Our services are free. Let us help you.
